Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (Psalm 25:4&5 NIV)

In the workplace there are usually clear expectations for the results you are supposed to generate. You may be responsible for directing other people, mass production, sales or service. In most jobs and at most companies there is a traditional way of performing your job. When you were a new employee, someone trained you and demonstrated the best practices for your position. At some point you may wonder if there is a better way to do the work. Maybe there is. Maybe not. Either way, your attitude and intention while working can be led by the Holy Spirit, thereby infusing your work day with grace and favor. This is the place to start. Ask God to help you think about your workplace, your behavior, coworkers and everyone you come into contact as an opportunity to develop your Christian walk. He will also help you to improve your performance in specific duties. If you need to be more organized for example, ask God to show you how you can be better in this area. He is in the workplace with us all day long and he is willing to help.

Prayer-Father thank you for your favor, grace and your holy spirit that guides me at work each day. Lord I ask that you help me to interact with the people at work in a way which pleases and glorifies you. Please aid me in becoming the best I can be at my job. In Jesus name. Amen
